2. TurkishJourney
TurkishJourney is a YouTube channel that provides a variety of engaging content for Turkish learners. The channel offers a lot of videos explaining the Turkish grammar but also focusing on the daily usage & local idioms. The host is speaking clearly and explaining all the details you want to know to start speaking Turkish properly!
3. Turkish Tea Time
Turkish Tea Time is a podcast series that focuses on conversational Turkish. It’s an excellent resource for intermediate and advanced learners who want to enhance their listening skills and understand colloquial expressions. Each episode breaks down dialogues and grammar points in a digestible way, providing a thorough understanding of everyday Turkish. The r/turkishlearning subreddit is a community of Turkish learners and native speakers. You can also often find some useful resources that community members share. On overall, the community is really reactive and will help you if you have doubt about specific points of the Turkish language.

iTalki is a popular platform that connects language learners with native Turkish tutors. It offers personalized lessons that cater to your learning styles and goals. Whether you want to focus on conversation, grammar, or vocabulary, iTalki’s one-on-one sessions will provide you with what you need to get better at Turkish. Also, the direct interaction with a native speaker is the best way to improve your speaking and listening skills. I personally used it once I reached the B1 level in Turkish and found it very useful to improve my speaking!
7. Tureng
Tureng is my go-to Turkish-English dictionary! It’s one of the most comprehensive online dictionaries for Turkish. It provides translations for words and phrases in multiple languages, along with example sentences, synonyms, and related expressions. This makes it an essential tool for expanding vocabulary and understanding context.
8. Sesli Sözlük
Sesli Sözlük is another online dictionary that is very useful. Sesli Sözlük also offers additional features such as audio pronunciation, example sentences, word origins, and various language pairs, making it a versatile resource for Turkish language acquisition. Moreover, you can use their translator if you need to translate a longer sentence (not available in Tureng).
9. Ekşi Sözlük
Ekşi Sözlük is more of a social media. The website was built as a collaborative online Turkish dictionary where users share their thoughts and experiences on various topics, involving slang and weird Turkish expressions. It’s a great way to see how Turkish is used in everyday conversations, understand slang, and learn about cultural references.

The Aposto Gündem Bülteni is a daily newsletter that covers news and current events in Turkish.
