Merhaba and welcome to TurkishFluent! We’re Nicolas and Sibel, a small but highly motivated team determined to help you speak Turkish with ease and confidence.
Who We Are
I'm Nicolas, a French expat living in Türkiye for 5 years. Like many expats, I struggled to quickly learn practical Turkish. That’s why I teamed up with Sibel to create my dream Turkish learning app. I'm based in Berlin, Germany, and take care of the product and marketing.
Selam! I'm Sibel, a professional Turkish teacher from Istanbul. With Nicolas, we're building the best app to help you confidently master Turkish for everyday life. I'm the one behind TurkishFluent's lessons and exercises.
What We Do
We created TurkishFluent to give you the easiest, most enjoyable path to Turkish fluency. Our app is composed of a list of interactive lessons covering A1, A2 and B1 levels (B2 and C1 levels coming soon!). The lessons teach you real-life vocabulary and in-depth grammar that help you speak, listen, and use Turkish every day. We’re not just another “Duolingo style” app: each lessons will teach you the appropriate grammar from a real-life dialogue so you can understand how the language really works.
We also crafted practice modules to help you not forget what you learned. Quizzes, reading and listening exercises allow you to understand and retain the rules.
Last but not least, we love idioms! In each lesson, you will learn a common idiom you can use to impress your Turkish friends.
For Whom We Do It
If you’re an expat, a student living in Türkiye, the partner of a Turkish native, or anyone who wants to master Turkish for real-life conversations, TurkishFluent is for you! Our mission is to help you order that çay (or simit) in Turkish, connect with Turkish people, and strive when visiting Türkiye.
